Packages Do Not Include: Transportation to Smithers, accommodations and meals in Smithers, liquor, gratuities, fishing licences or 6% - 12% Harmonized Sales Tax.

Booking Information

Reservation
50% deposit is required to secure a reservation and is payable 14 days after the trip is booked. The remaining amount must be paid 90 days prior to trip commencement. Avoid disappointment and book your trip early.

Cancellation Policy

It is impossible to know when an unfortunate situation (loss of luggage, rods, weather delays, family illness, an accident or unavoidable business problem) may occur.   However, such problems can and do happen, and insurance can provide a means of recourse against non-refundable financial losses.   With over 30 years experience in the lodge business, we believe trip cancellation insurance coverage is very important for some travelers.   Due to the nature of the guide-outfitting business, we do not give refunds or credits for deposits on full trip fees, unless a replacement is found.   We recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance through your travel agent or you can contact CSA Travel Protection, toll free 1-800-554-9839. Due to the nature of the lodge business, the limited number of spots available and demand for them, we can no longer give refunds for deposits and full trip fees. We strongly suggest you purchase trip cancellation insurance, which can be provided, through your airline ticketing travel agent.

Travel Information

All of our trips originate in Smithers, B.C. Travel Vancouver-Smithers via Air Canada or Hawk Air. Please arrive in Smithers a day before you fly into the lodge and plan to depart on the evening, or the following day, of your trip completion. Scheduled charter flights are set to leave between 8:30-9:30 am from the floatplane base in Smithers. On your final day, you may arrive in Smithers anywhere from 12:00 pm into the late afternoon. ALL FLIGHT DEPARTURE TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO WEATHER CONDITIONS. An expeditor will pick you up at the airport and provide transportation to the hotel.

BC Fishing License
We can arrange for angling licenses to be purchased from our expeditor upon arrival in Smithers. An eight license for a non-resident is $52.50 and an annual license is $84.00. Visit www.fishing.gov.bc.ca for further information or to purchase a license online.

Smithers

What is there to do in Smithers? Smithers is a small, quaint, alpine theme town nestled at the base of Hudson Bay Mountain in the Bulkley Valley. The main street offers some excellent shopping for souvenirs, outdoor gear and fishing supplies. The surrounding mountains and rivers around Smithers offer you the traveler an opportunity to explore the Bulkley Valley. If you’d like to spend a few extra days in Smithers you could arrange some guided rafting, hiking, or cycling trips. Or, take in a round at our local golf course.
