We run a variety of wilderness trips throughout the summer, from both Spatsizi Lodge and other camps throughout Spatsizi Wilderness Park. Please see the trip descriptions below.

What's included?  Our trips include the 400-mile return airfare into Spatsizi with a floatplane, gourmet cuisine and accommodation, guided daily adventures and host service in Smithers.

Eaglenest Camp: Multi-Activity hiking and horseback tours

Nestled at the gateway to the spectacular Eaglenest Mountains, Spatsizi Plateau and adjacent to the Gladys Lake Ecological Reserve. Enjoy an overnight packtrip into the mountains and daily horseback rides to reach the high alpine. Hike vast meadows brilliantly colored with wild flowers, reach alpine vistas, view and photograph wildlife. Fly fish for wild rainbows.

Dr. Wade Davis featured trip: Natural and Native History of the Spatsizi Country.

Stay at our comfortable Eaglenest Camp and travel deep into the mountains, home of Stone Sheep, Mtn goat, caribou, moose, grizzly bears and wolves. Spatsizi Lodge: A Fly-in Fishing and Wildlife Encounter

Ideally situated at the headwaters of the spectacular Stikine River is the distinctive Spatsizi Lodge. This exquisite setting serves as an excellent focal point for daily activities like fly fishing, canoeing, hiking and overnight adventure trips. Observe resident mountain goats perched on the cliffs behind the lodge or paddle a section of the Upper Stikine River. The pristine lakes and rivers are teeming with wild Rainbows and free rising Arctic Grayling. Horseback trips in August only.
